My true nature is abundantly clear to me. I know I don’t need others to be any different than what they are, and I know that all is given through Divine Providence. I know that my only duty is “to thine own self be true.”

Yet, in accepting the charge of serving the awakening of mankind, my separate self sometimes shifts from its role of providing information to seeking domination. It doesn’t take long before I can sense this discord in my body, and I feel small, separate, and judgmental of myself.

I don’t want to control you – not merely out of kindness, but because I know it doesn’t actually work. Even benevolent demands for virtue or self-assessment can turn others subservient, stripping them of their power, will, and freedom. This does not lead to betterment; it perpetuates the separation and ignorance in the world.

I want to inspire. I want to reveal to you your own truth, your own power, your own freedom. I want to offer myself in service to that. Everything I share is ultimately an offer and an invitation, despite how my ego’s frustration can sometimes hijack the keyboard and tell you exactly how to behave.

I know I see what’s true very clearly. I know I can guide others to their self-realization, and I can offer the world a model of living that would actually bring about true prosperity for all life.

I know my shadow is only a shadow because I hide it. It only transforms into something frustrated and judgmental because I sometimes shy away from sharing what is true – out of concern. I know it’s ultimately the part of me that wishes to free his brothers and sisters, to live in harmony with others, to return to Paradise together.

I know this is where it comes from. But leaving it in the dark, rather than speaking its truth, permits it to fester and morph into something that begins to deviate from its original intention. The process of this deviation is fascinating.

Are you like me? Have you spent a lot of imaginative energy extrapolating what others might think and feel – and then behaved as though responding to those imagined people?

When I share something online without a particular receiver in mind, my mind imagines every possible response, pre-emptively trying to reconcile every potential misinterpretation.

This becomes overwhelming, and I collapse under the imagined pressure of someone else’s judgment. From there, those imagined judgments get internalized, and a defence comes online.

My creation then becomes, in some ways, an active defence against an attack that never even happened. I grow stern, rigid, blunt, and seemingly inconsiderate. A whole subconscious dialogue unfolds between my original intention to share and all the make-believe voices in my head.

It also occurs that I subconsciously perceive social media to be a kind of lawless space, where I am permitted to say whatever I want because I don’t see the consequences in my immediate physical life – only through words on a screen. It becomes a safe haven for the shadow aspect that just wants to burst out of its self-imposed cage.

My intention to simply and lovingly express what I see to be true can then manifest like a fed-up father, indignant from all the questioning of his authority – questioning that never really occurred. Or it manifests like a self-appointed preacher who takes the liberty to speak freely for granted, disconnected from the tender human heart that encourages the welcoming of hard truths.

My desire – and subsequent attachment – to reach everyone, to have everyone see what is real so they can be free, uses the imagination and a perceived license to speak without consequence in this way. Ironically, this creates the very defence and emotional distance that can make my writing far less relatable and accessible because of how disconnected I’ve become.

Naming these parts that assume authority, and calling them to the light, actually leaves room for true authority to emerge – the authority of God. When I hold not to results or to how I am received, I can see and speak clearly about what is absolutely true.

This process of creation and sharing is a way of purging my shadow – exposing it to your light so it can burn to ash. This allows its essence to reintegrate with the soul where it belongs.

What gets revealed in this process of exposition is a deep grief. Beneath my desire to control is a frustration born from the belief that we are not doing enough. That belief itself is birthed from the agony of witnessing humanity suffer so greatly. I sometimes want to yell, “What are we doing to ourselves!?”

The pain within the collective consciousness is immense. Truly tuning into the world’s suffering is a weight one mind and body cannot hold, which is why I have had to transcend my individual form – why we all need to if we are to see the whole truth.

People say that no one is meant to witness the amount of pure human suffering that we are seeing now through the global network that we have, and they’re right. An individual, finite self cannot comprehend – nor integrate – the magnitude of suffering that occurs. Only God can. Luckily, we just so happen to be that God, merely pretending to be a finite self.

I invite you to join me in this ongoing witnessing of our shadows – what they believe and perceive, what they fear and what they hold, what they protect and how they project.

In the integration of our shadow parts – their returning home to wholeness – our consciousness approaches the threshold between individual and collective. When the collective is taken on as one’s self, there is no choice but to allow divine awareness to emerge, if we are not to collapse under the weight.

It is needed in order to hold, witness, experience, and ultimately accept and integrate the endless suffering of the human mind and body. Equally true is its need to hold, witness, and experience the infinite beauty and love of the human spirit.

The Good News is that the love, beauty, and bliss of divine awareness are not only infinitely greater than the suffering, but they reveal the deeper order within which it unfolds, resolving its mystery, and showing the way to its final liberation.

It seems to me that, much of the time, when people are enraged or devastated by the world, it somehow feels sufficient to merely voice their distaste for what they’re seeing rather than committing to — or even seeking — what’s actually needed. And the reason it seems that way to me is because I’ve definitely been guilty of that myself.

So, I want to point out how I am seeing it show up in the world, as well as speak to the potential for it we all carry. Here’s what I see and what I think would get us the results we desire as a collective.

A lot of the time when I share my voice — whether through a video or through writing — I perceive my creation as having almost an arrogance. It feels very strange to witness that come through me, because, ultimately, I am not attached to anyone doing anything, I feel superior to no one, and I hold no judgment of anyone else.

Everything and everyone are truly perfect in my eyes. And yet, I feel I am here to respond to what I see and what I hear. I am here to offer the truth if people want it, because it seems that’s what they are asking for.

It seems the majority of people behave as if they actually want change. Everyone’s reactions to events seem to suggest that they do desire freedom, truth, love, and equality. What troubles me — and what creates a sense of frustration — is that this desire, more often than not, appears mostly performative.

It reminds me of that phrase “I would do anything for my kids — I would even die for them,” and the subsequent response that calls them to integrity: “Would you eat healthy? Would you exercise? Would you work through your trauma? Would you always tell the truth?”

I am writing from my honest feeling, which allows me to deepen into the truth beneath the emotion. What do I feel when I see people complaining about one particular politician or administration, or being outraged at one tragic event that is flooding their social media feed?

I feel that they are not seeing the real issue and therefore will never be aware of what causes real change. I believe they see in this limited way because of their attachment to their emotions and their sense of group identity.

This group identity can create a sense of safety and stability, as well as the illusion of creating actual change. And when that group identity is challenged — or it’s suggested that they would need to see past their emotional reaction in order to discern actual truth — a strong resistance arises.

There’s a belief that the way they’ve been approaching things is the only way, and even considering that this might not be so feels too unstable to risk; there’s no ground to stand on once their usual way of action loses validity.

My experience is this: I believe the consciousness of the world is incredibly out of balance. I see institutions diametrically opposed to natural systems that bring about true health. I see systems structured in ways that destroy life and suppress awareness. I see a people addicted to sympathy and empathy and utterly devoid of true compassion.

And, I also see outliers to all of this — conscious people, every day, genuinely seeking what is true and devoted to doing what’s actually necessary. However, the dominant consciousness still seems to be the former.

I feel the call to do what is necessary to bring about a genuinely harmonious world, and I see almost everyone claiming that they want the same. My naïveté then gives me the impression that we are all on the same page, ready to work together to make it happen.

I get excited, and a part of me starts to attach to that experience. So when I see others merely posturing — unloading their emotions out into the void with no real intention of changing themselves, just hoping that someone else will hear their entitled distaste and make the change for them — I get frustrated.

My old cynical self, once my dominant way of being, is then resurrected. Thankfully, he is then assuaged by my greater awareness that assures me that: I’ve been there, I know what this is, I understand the apathy, I understand the fear, I understand the hopelessness.

And therefore I understand leaning into being self-centred and self-righteous, because trying to make any kind of real change can feel too daunting, overwhelming, and downright impossible.

I get you, humans. I’m with you. I feel for you. It really can seem like there’s no hope and the best that we can do is loudly complain about it to an echo-chamber, sign petitions that offer no foundational change, raise awareness of symptoms while ignoring the actual cause, and vote some other criminal into a position of power so they can seemingly fuck us more gently until we get used to the violation.

What do I want out of this? You’ve read what may sound like a scathing critique. This, if anything, is my own version of complaining loudly — expressing my own “entitled distaste” with the circumstances I see.

I acknowledge the irony. Yet, I am here and I am willing. I have ideas. I see a pathway forward and I know it’s possible. I am ready to work with anyone who is genuinely guided by the Light of Truth, fuelled by the Power of Love.

Chances are, if you’re reading this, you’re probably someone who already agrees with me. Maybe I am speaking about the people I find hard to reach. I want to appeal to the ones who are moved, who do feel like they are doing something — because if they could see more clearly what is truly happening, and were then mobilized from that place, something real might finally begin to shift.

And I suppose that’s what I am noticing: the ones who are the loudest, the ones that seem to immerse themselves in the most action — the most boots on the ground, the most organizing — are often the ones that have been led into a carefully designed maze for them to wander endlessly. They seem to open new doors, discover new pathways, uncover new clues, and remain fiercely active — without ever being allowed to arrive at the real exit.

The beauty is that we all, at our core, truly do desire the same thing. If every human could glimpse for even a moment the power of true sovereignty, the richness of true love, and the gnosis of true reality, their willingness to realize it fully would know no limits. We all seek completion, wholeness, health, wealth, love, and communion. The challenge lies in how easily we are led astray by our own attachments, fears, and ignorance.

I feel this call to summon everyone to total realization, to the full manifestation of our true nature in physical form. This essay is for those who would probably never read it — largely because they’ve got their minds made up, and partly because they would probably take offence immediately to the sanctimonious tone I may appear to have. Yet, this is also for those who would largely agree with me but still fail to fully grasp the foundational understandings of reality creation, finding themselves still living in fear and demonizing their “oppressors.”

So what is really needed?

Like 9/11, True Change is an Inside Job - The Internal Exploration

As I share in almost all of my creations, change always originates from within. If you want to understand how we are actually the creators of our realities, you can read my essay titled We are the Very Source from which Creation Arises. But assuming you’re already on board with that premise, let me remind you: all that we witness in what we perceive as the external world is first, not separate, nor is it external. If you see it in your reality, it is a reflection — a projection — of a perception you hold.

If you hate [insert your most despised oligarch here] because of the behaviour or qualities he or she exhibits, your vitriol is an indicator that you harbour the same behaviour or quality within yourself — however subtle or hidden it may be.

In other words: when a certain political leader disparages or marginalizes a certain person or people and it boils your blood, that heat arises from the friction within yourself as you unconsciously refuse to acknowledge the same diminishment of the person or people to whom you find yourself superior.

Let’s just make it very clear. If you hate someone, or even slightly think they are a lesser human — whether it’s Trump, Trudeau, Putin, Netanyahu, or the Austrian artist himself — the pattern is the same. You subscribe to the same program of superiority; they just have more purchase.

I know, I know: they’re hard to love. They look like the bad guy.

But as long as you see them as bad, you will keep seeing people in your reality who believe in lesser humans, and you will keep witnessing the horror of that belief — until you let it go.

This is not a judgment or an indictment on you; it is just simply how reality works. If you want to stop hate in the world, then go ahead — stop it!

This is the true responsibility of being a conscious creator.

We all have the potential for what we call evil. Until it is recognized, accepted as a possibility, and neutralized through the conscious act to simply choose compassion instead, it will materialize in your reality in some form to gain your love — to be welcomed home.

Like a child who misbehaves for attention, all shadow expressions are a soul’s call for release, to be relieved of their duty of holding the darkness out of sight.

Apply this concept to anything and everything you see that you wish to change. Seek it out in yourself and hold it in loving grace. Judge not these patterns; recognize their origin, feel their emotional weight, and allow them to resolve on their own time. There’s no rush — willingness alone makes massive ripples.

Your contribution to the stabilizing of the world, and the field of consciousness in general, is rooted in stabilizing and harmonizing your own self with natural law. You are the creator of all that you see and experience.

Be still and know that you are God.

Seek the Truth, Tell the Truth, Live the Truth

As is referenced above, the witnessing and understanding of one’s self is integral for actual change. And on the journey of knowing thyself, the understanding of reality is simultaneously revealed. To know one’s self fully is to know reality fully, for they are one.

The more sincerely you explore your own inner landscape — both psychologically and emotionally — the more you begin to sense and intuit the mechanisms of metaphysics: how creation is based in intention, perception, vibration, attention, and resonance.

Universal Truth is experienced on all levels of your being: mind, heart, body and spirit. To seek understanding, or to know life, through all of these lenses is how truth becomes abundantly clear — without contradiction, without gaps, without shadow.

One must be willing to challenge their preconceived notions of self and other — to scrutinize every feeling, every experience, as well as what appears to be happening in the external world. This is where most truth-seekers get stifled: something they witness, discover, or simply imagine about the reality they inhabit — whether internal or external — becomes too hard to reconcile with what they want to be real.

The fear or resistance they experience is an indicator of an unwillingness to accept a certain possibility, and they therefore never fully integrate the reality that anything is possible. They can only grasp it intellectually, which keeps them in a powerless state, fearful of that which they reject. However, gnosis through feeling allows for authentic power to emerge.

Willingness to see the reality of our entire psyche and thus the entire world reveals the prevalence of reality creation through perception — a mechanism that is deeply understood and ritualistically practiced by those in positions of institutional power on this planet.

Delve into the longstanding occult traditions of magick, initiatory and ceremonial ritual, reality manifestation, and the use of subconscious symbolism, mass mind manipulation, and perception orchestration. These practices have been preserved and guarded by secret societies and mystery schools throughout history — by some for enlightenment and empowerment, by others for control and power consolidation.

Refusal to acknowledge the possibility of a “ruling elite” because of the sense of fear you may feel is the very thing that perpetuates that state — as well as yields your own divine creative power to said elites.

Anyone I’ve encountered who rejects this idea often has an incomplete worldview or ontological framework. They typically deny the possibility because they don’t want to witness the same patterns within themselves, nor do they want to believe it could be real, so they find and lean on explanations that are rife with logical fallacies and have their foundation in dogma rather than rationality.

Whenever challenged logically, they often arrive at a defence that demands a respect for their right to have their own perspective — rarely an ontological argument that is rooted in reason.

By seeking the truth regardless of the emotional effect it has — by persisting in devotion to know what is real — one arrives at a state of communion with the Divine. From this place, all that is needed shows up, and the pathway forward becomes clear.

As the truth is being revealed more and more, it is integral to speak and share what appears clear in every opportunity — in every moment. Note the phrase “as the truth is being revealed.” Absolute Truth, though inherently unchanging in its essence, can reveal itself in layers, in stages, in phases.

It is equally integral to allow oneself to adapt to a new and evolving understanding as it becomes clearer. Hold nothing as dogma; speak primarily from a place of authentic being, not from a memory of what was discovered before.

And perhaps most importantly, live in alignment with the truth that you discover. To reveal what is real and then fail to let it inform your behaviour is, in many ways, more detrimental than living in delusion. Yet when aligned, the result is a life that serves everything in proximity, as well as the entire universe.

As you seek, speak what you find; and as you find, act from that discovery. Allow the consequence of your actions, in turn, to refine and inform the relationship you have to the unfolding of what is observably true.

Come Together, Commune, and Develop

Coming together and creating something new is the vehicle through which all the inner work becomes manifest. As we look within — as we seek the truth — what gets revealed is what’s possible. Through this revelation, we are called to act in accordance with what we see and feel.

This is not about recommending actions to take in order to make these physical conditions real. It’s merely reflecting and naming what is universally uncovered as people make the sincere inquiry into how the human species is most benefited.

I am not saying, “Go and make a village.” I am telling you that when people do a deep dive into their own consciousness without the filters of personal identity and selfishness, they unequivocally arrive at an awareness of the same expression of prosperity, balance, and harmony.

I am sharing what that looks like theoretically; practical steps for all of this will appear in another post. The distinction is important, because without the vision arising from true awareness, creating a village will be built on a fantasy without the substance of resonance that would energetically sustain it. So the ongoing self-awareness and devotion to truth remain paramount.

As we converse with each other and commune — not only through our individual access point to divine awareness, but collectively attuning to a greater truth than what can be seen as the finite self — we begin to arrive at the deepest and highest comprehension.

This coherence sets the foundation for genuine consensus, which is always possible. Let us talk to each other, have the hard conversations, and walk head-on toward the friction, the dissonance, and the discord; truth will always be waiting on the other side of the discomfort.

Any true community must be founded on shared values, beliefs, principles, and practices. Without these as the roots, we cannot grow strong forests. The practical becomes obvious as hearts and minds come together in unity, understanding our shared need to support each other and the land we steward.

It’s important to understand that the system we are currently entangled in is not intended to bring about true prosperity for all people. It is designed simply to separate, exploit, and dominate. While certain aspects within it may appear beneficial, their function is solely for surface-level adjustments that create the illusion of improvement while preserving the same underlying intention.

Therefore, any attempts to create better businesses, reform government policy, or establish improved practices within education, science, or medicine will never result in humanity’s freedom or lasting prosperity.

That being said, during the transitional period of coming together and establishing our own networks and systems of genuine health and wealth, we can skillfully utilize the system we currently live within to support this movement.

Over time, we can depend less and less on the systems we have been beholden to, and lean more fully into shared living, mutual support, and honest relationships. As we redirect our power toward one another — and away from systems built on scarcity and debt slavery — those structures begin to decay because their survival depends on our participation.

We, the people, have always possessed the real power. Institutions of fraudulent authority cannot endure without our consent. Simply reclaiming our sovereignty internally — and having our actions reflect that choice — produces a wave so powerful that rigid systems devoid of life-force energy crumble and fall. In its wake is left a vastness of pure potential, where the ripples of our shared intention to create in harmony with Mother Nature and Divine Law manifest a world that our souls have spent an eternity broadcasting into our hearts and minds.

We are now ready, as a people, for this transformation. This is the time of great transition. It has been foreseen and prophesied for many millennia, ever since the last turn of the cycle. Though it is inevitable due to natural law, it is imperative that we, as conscious beings, are aware of it and consciously allow it to be ushered in through us.

We no longer need to try. We simply allow ourselves to align with Truth and Love and get out of the way as this Holy Charge realizes itself.

We, and the entire planet, are collectively moving through a massive shift in consciousness — a shift in the energetic field and, thus, a shift in everything else; physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual. This type of shift is unprecedented, at least in any of our lifetimes, and perhaps even in the planet’s entire history.

Everything that is occurring — everything that we are seeing on the global stage and everything that we are feeling in our minds, our hearts, and our spirits — is a reflection of this change. This is imperative to remember because, as a result of this shift, we may see and experience some of the most challenging things we have ever endured. The only way to endure and also improve from it is to know how and why it is happening. Without context to understand this event, and without faith in its necessity, we are subject to fear, confusion, and ultimately further separation.

Now is the time that we are being called to observe and let go of that which no longer serves us — that which keeps us separated from our Source, that which keeps us separated from our fellow beings.

In truth, separation is absolutely an illusion. Not only are we connected to each and every being, thing, and quanta of energy in existence, but we are the entirety of it expressed in a single, individuated point. The further we zoom out, the more we can witness this truth: we are All One Energy.

As a collective, we are evolving, and in the process of evolution, old patterns, habits, and tendencies that hinder that evolution will be shed — they will dissolve. This is an inevitability. It is not whether or not you will evolve; it is whether or not you will resist or allow it.

We are becoming higher versions of ourselves, and in order to do that, we must treat ourselves as such. Holding on to addictions, attachments, externals sources of salvation or validation will cause this transition to be seemingly unbearable at points.

On the other hand, if we accept change, if we allow ourselves to let go, trust, and have faith — that not only will we be okay, but we will be in a state far greater than anything we can experience in the realm of separation and duality — then each and every step of this transition will be a liberating experience.

The How and Why

As is known by all of us at our core, beyond all the accumulated “knowledge,” everything is vibrating energy. This energy changes and operates under the mechanism of polarity and cycles.

What is occurring on a planetary level is that the energy of the planet, the frequency of the solar system, the vibration of the entire galaxy is coming into realignment, thus creating a more harmonious field and environment of balance and unity.

Our universe is an expression of music. When vibratory patterns sync up with one another, they create harmony, and when they are out of sync, they create dissonance. On a historical level, the human race, and the planet in general, has been in a state of dissonance for hundreds, if not thousands, of years.

Just as cycles go, we are returning to a point of harmony. As our galaxy aligns more with the cluster it belongs to, as the solar system aligns more with the galaxy, and as our planet aligns more with the solar system, a stream of pure energy is created — one where there is very little to no dissonance: a place for pure creation, a place for pure knowing, a place for pure love.

As this occurs, on a collective psychological level, that which is currently out of alignment will be brought to the surface to be seen and rectified. This will be demonstrated by individuals who have ruled under false authority — under fear and separation, manipulation and coercion.

They will be holding on for dear life, trying to grab all that which they believe to be their own; their control, their illusion of authority, their power over others. This system, under which we have been ruled as a people for a very long time, is coming to its end. The system of freedom — of the sovereign being — is being reborn in all of humanity.

As it occurs on a personal level, all that which you fear, which you look to for salvation, or which you seek for comfort will be brought to the surface to be examined. Only that which aligns with truth will remain. This is, again, the principle of harmony: that which can be sustained on its own, without external energy, is in alignment with truth and will need no external source to maintain it.

Anything that is a reflection of the ego of separation — whether it is something you believe about yourself to make you feel good or to make you feel bad — if it is based on the idea that you are separate from the whole, will not stand in the light of truth that is rising within us all right now, waiting to be expressed in its full capacity.

The consciousness of the planet is entering a new paradigm — one that is not based on the ideas of separation and taking from another source, but one that recognizes that nothing can truly be taken or given because we are all one; it is merely a process of exchange. This is a process that consciousness goes through to know itself. It has separated from itself to know itself conceptually, and now it is returning to the Knowing of itself experientially.

So, fear not that which you see occurring on the global stage. It is but an expression of dissonant energy being purified, expressed through the individuals who hold dearly to their separation.

If you are reading this, then it is likely that at some point you have discovered that you are not separate from others or from the universe as a whole. It is this Knowing that will be your salvation in these times. Come back to Self as often and as fully as you can. Know that you are here to usher in a new world of Love, Truth, and Freedom.

My role is simply that of a messenger – stating what I see to be possible, what works, and what’s real through the prism of one individual being’s perspective. Given that this is perhaps one of the loftiest descriptions of the world I am espousing, it feels important to offer this disclaimer here.

In my previous essay, Fellowship with All of Creation, I spoke of a potential reality that’s available to us – one where humans live in harmony with all of nature, including plants and animals. I presented a particular aspect of that harmony that may seem like pure fantasy to most. The aspect I am referring to is the total freedom from predation of any kind. This means that not only do we as humans no longer behave as predators to other forms of animal life, but animal life as a whole evolves past that instinctual programming.

This essay is about laying out a process that could potentially be a pathway to this material reality. It answers the question:

If we can evolve as a planet to the point where there is no longer the taking of sentient life for the purposes of survival, how would we get from where we are now to there?

Reality as Vibration and Attunement

All of reality is expressed through energy in the form of vibration and resonance. To embody or inhabit any particular reality we would first attune to it vibrationally. To attune to it vibrationally, we can start by imagining and allowing ourselves to feel the effects in our body and psyche. By attuning to it, we are fixing our intention and energy to its existence, causing us to be magnetically pulled towards it – simultaneously revealing and clearing a pathway.

Addressing Suffering

We currently live in a world where suffering is commonplace, stretching to the extremes of our imagination. There are many approaches and things we can focus on that can greatly reduce our experience of suffering as individuals and as a collective, but in the previous essay I was mainly shining the light on the way in which we relate to other sentient animals.

We as a people are no strangers to responding to differences and conflict with fear, force, and destruction. We have long believed we are to overcome evil by destroying it, and that growth is achieved by diminishing – or taking from – another. Such behaviours spring from the illusion of separation, and by pursuing our aims in this way we perpetuate the very conditions we wish to transcend.

Conscious Creation of a New Reality

We are the conscious creators here – the players in the game of life who have become self-aware. Within our self-awareness lies the capacity to affect and alter the underlying patterns – the informational code – that defines reality itself. (We are the Very Source from which Creation Arises).

When we shift our consciousness out of the illusions of scarcity and separation, the physical world around us begins to reflect this change. Thus, by ceasing to participate in a practice – or even an industry – that systematically confines, subjugates, and kills other sentient beings, we foster a reality where this is less common in the wild and less present in the minds of those who seek power and control. We are the starting point; in each and every moment, there is the potential for pure creation.

So, what is the process?

Reduce Consumption

To begin, we look at where we are now. There is certainly much debate around whether or not eating animals is necessary for optimal health, and I am not intending to feed that debate here. I am operating from the point of view that we have the capacity to evolve beyond that need – even if it is present in our current physiology. Given the copious amounts of research done on this topic, it seems reasonable to conclude that some people appear to thrive without any animal products in their diet, while others seem to benefit from regular consumption.

What is equally clear is that the majority of people have not taken the liberty to explore that question for themselves. If each and every individual on the planet conducted a genuine, sincere assessment of whether or not their body presently requires meat – and, if so, how much – it would be revealed that we are already grossly overconsuming as a species.

By working with natural health modalities – such as Ayurveda and Traditional Chinese Medicine – and pairing them with blood-type awareness, other genetic insights, and listening closely to what best serves our bodies, it is likely that a large number of people would discover that they can live optimally with next to no animal products, if any. Others (especially those currently with deficiencies or other health issues) may still require some, yet far less than what they were consuming before. Here eating animals would function more as a short-term therapy, supporting healing and recalibration rather than forming a lifelong dependence.

Humanity currently consumes animal products in vast quantities largely because they enjoy the taste and/or believe it’s necessary. By shifting to eating foremost for health – while not sacrificing the pleasure of eating – we can still enjoy our food while greatly reducing the number of animals killed to feed us. My estimate is that with this step alone, we could almost immediately reduce animal production and consumption by upwards of 70 per cent.

Transformation

Right now, the vast majority of the world’s meat is produced in what are called factory farms – or CAFOs (concentrated animal feeding operations). We could begin transforming these into regenerative farms, where the animals are utilized for fertilization and pest management. Much of the land freed up would also be reforested, reestablishing natural environments and bringing greater balance to the collective ecosystem. Given that we would likely need only 30 percent of the animals going forward – until consumption is entirely phased out – we would allow as many animals as possible to live out natural lives. Those deemed necessary to kill would be processed and frozen, creating a reserve for future needs.

In these spaces, animals would roam and forage freely. There would be none of the common factory-farm practices – routine antibiotics, hormone injections, or the administration of other synthetic chemicals or “medications”. Animals would breed naturally, without any artificial insemination or any other violations of, or intrusions on, their bodily autonomy. Relating to animals in this context would, in turn, significantly improve the energetic or metaphysical imprint within the collective field of creation – more on this later.

Improving Relationships with Plants

An integral part of improving our relationship to animals is actually shifting the way we relate to plants. We are focusing on animals because the ways in which we exploit and subjugate them are more obvious, given that they are sentient beings who clearly suffer. Yet our relationship with them merely amplifies how we relate in general – not only to animals but to plants, other humans, and Earth itself.

We tend to see most things outside ourselves as separate entities to be treated according to what serves us, rather than as extensions of ourselves – not separate, but deeply connected and interdependent. Because we rarely directly witness the discord and imbalances we create in plants, we are prone to overlook them.

Plants may not have the subjective experience of a conscious observer with senses and a nervous system as animals or humans do, but they exhibit very similar natural tendencies. The drives toward survival and proliferation are alive in all expressions of life. Though a plant may lack a nervous system or pain receptors to have a subjective experience of the discomfort, its natural intelligence still perceives attack or offence and adapts to protect itself. Because of this, plants will develop defences by producing certain chemicals to ward off predators to prevent their demise.

What’s interesting and important to note is that, though the plants may exhibit these behaviours, they are not akin to the solipsistic or self-centred tendencies often only found in humans and animals. A plant would seldom defend itself to perpetuate its own existence at the expense of another or of its environment in the way that a human might.

For example, in parts of Africa the leaves of the acacia tree are eaten by giraffes and antelope. When browsing pressure is high, the trees will produce more tannins to deter further feeding. But, the trees are not in constant defence; when the giraffes and antelope reduce their consumption sufficiently, the acacias return to lower levels of tannin production. This suggests that the trees are not trying to wipe out “a predator” but to find balance within the surrounding ecosystem.

With this understanding, we could greatly improve how we balance with our surrounding environments. It is well documented that many of the plants we eat contain compounds that can be toxic to humans – e.g., tomatoes, beans, and certain greens. One could reasonably infer that the production of some of these toxins is directly connected to the ways we are not in harmony with our natural environment. As we modify, overproduce, immerse in artificial spaces, and monocrop many foods, it could be expected that these plants would develop stronger defences against our persistent pressures.

By contrast, if we lived in harmony with the plants around us – allowing them to grow naturally and cultivating environments that support that harmony – they would co-evolve with us, tending toward nutrient profiles that better meet our needs, provided we bestow them the honour and reverence they deserve, given their nature to serve the whole.

Conscious Physical Evolution

Using our understanding of epigenetics, we can infer that as we make different choices – not only in what we eat, but how we live: how much sunlight we take in, how we breathe, how we process information, and how we connect with nature – our bodies will literally change; the expression of our genes will change. Anatomically and physiologically, humans share many significant traits with frugivores (animals that consume primarily fruit), yet we have omnivorous traits as well and have adapted to also digest – and sometimes benefit from – eating meat.

When we eat meat, we engage genetic pathways that may benefit from that intake. If we reduce meat consumption and adopt broadly health-supporting practices, we support different patterns of gene expression. As we tap into the energy of the more subtle sources – deep, conscious breathing; sunlight; electrons in the soil through grounding; and foods rich in life-force energy (fruit) – we require less of the denser matter and energy fields associated with meat. We attune, as it were, to a more energetic realm rather than the purely physical and molecular.

Spiritual and Energetic Practices

The approach of conscious physical evolution is merely an offshoot of a greater mechanism at play. These changes that would occur epigenetically – and ultimately genetically over time – have their limits. They still operate purely on the physical, molecular level, which is only part of the picture. This slow biological adaptation is the material mirror of a deeper energetic process – a lagging reflection of shifts that begin in consciousness and intention.

The mechanism of genetic variation alone is not the pathway to a totally different expression of humanity. At our core, we are energetic beings – then electromagnetic, then atomic, molecular, genetic and cellular; consciousness is foundational, not genetics. We are created and sustained by what is held psychically – and therefore expressed physically – in the infinite, eternal quantum field.

Projections of organized experience arise in a field of pure creation, manifesting physically into perceivable and tangible forms. When we align our intention and attention with what is present at the subtler levels of creation, we can shift the very expression of the physical world. What we currently experience as predation and competition reflects disharmony, separation, and imbalance in physical systems, which can be shifted through the proper intentions.

In recognizing the state of our current shared environment and our role in creating it, we can acknowledge what is needed now while simultaneously calling in and aligning with a greater expression. As a collective, we would move through any distortions and misperceptions in our own hearts and minds concerning the plant and animal worlds. By finally recognizing our true relationship with them – one of stewardship, guardianship, and custodianship rather than dominion – we meet them energetically as equals within the whole.

This recognition would entail a grieving process: the grief and sorrow of truly observing the impact we have had on the entire animal kingdom and the natural world. Moving through those emotions, we arrive at an understanding of our shared kinship. Yet we also acknowledge a time of transition – a period in which some nutritional dependence on the animals persists. In this space, we come together in prayer, reconciliation, and gratitude for all those still giving their lives.

We come to recognize that we have created this situation in which the majority of farmed animals cannot survive independently in the wild, and in which we have become somewhat physiologically dependent on animal sources. Out of responsibility, we assist the animals in whatever ways we can to live a full life; and through prayer and intentional communion, we would be led to an energetic agreement of reciprocation.

In this, we make a devoted vow: to do whatever is necessary to bring about a world where animals are no longer used in such ways. We begin to act as true stewards – doing what is best for humanity, the earth, and the longevity of both – while honouring and serving the animals who still give their lives during this period of transformation and transition.

Within this vow of prayer and devotion to the entire animal kingdom lies a profound shift in how we treat and work with the animals on farms. At the same time, we would adopt ancestral hunting practices that connect our spirits with the animals of the wild. Like many Indigenous cultures, we would perform ritual and ceremony: praying for bountiful hunts, thanking the animals involved, and ensuring their spirits are honoured.

Some traditions included shamans going on vision quests to receive guidance on where to find their next hunt, while hunters themselves undertook strict ritual practices to ensure their purity of heart. During the hunt, they remained attuned for any signs that the agreement between man and animal might have changed. In this way, the Indigenous peoples treated their relationship with animals as a sacred covenant, doing everything possible to ensure that the animal’s spirit was willing to offer itself.

At the heart of all of these methods is the internal energetic field work. Our care for the billions of farmed animals, and our embrace of ancestral practices, arises from an awareness of oneness with All That Is. We remain open to inspiration on how to continue co-evolving with plants and animals, while choosing conscious evolution within so as to create bodies that thrive on purer sources of energy and minds that shape the external world into one that no longer demands the destruction of innocence for the survival of but one single species amid an abundant diversity of life.

In summary, throughout our evolutionary process, it appears some of us have come to partially depend on animal products for optimal health – whether purely physiological or psychosomatic. The material realm is a reflection of a greater consciousness evolving spiritually to know and express more of itself as One. In recognizing both ideas, we can become aware of our present actions and envision what might be possible through conscious intention.

By choosing to consciously relate to animals – and to all of nature – as one with us, we bring about balance and harmony to the collective field, reducing the need for competition, predation, and ultimately any practice that perpetuates separation. Consciousness then begins to express itself as one balanced system, experiencing and knowing itself in infinite ways that are conducive to deeper understanding, greater awareness, continued growth, and the realization of the unconditional love innate to all of Creation.

The choices we make now ripple forward, shaping a world we may never fully inhabit but that others will inherit. This responsibility is not a burden but a privilege to be honoured and celebrated — an opportunity to serve and demonstrate our love for the beauty of shared existence.

What follows may challenge beliefs you’ve long held, ones that likely feel self-evident or unquestionable. In doing so, it may also feel like judgment — but that is far from my intent. I, too, am still evolving in my practice. If your instinct is to dismiss it outright, I invite you instead to pause and reflect: Is it truly impossible, or simply unfamiliar? Growth, after all, is rarely comfortable — but it is how we expand into greater truth.

This ideal I am advocating for is a vision of Heaven — the highest conceivable ideal, serving as our North Star as we continue to physically and spiritually evolve. The way a true paradise becomes manifest in the material realm is, first and foremost, by experiencing it within. It cannot be sustainable nor truly created otherwise. We may be able to fabricate a hollow imitation of what heaven might look like, but without the internal knowing and awareness of the present perfection, any such portrayal will be void of true life and will inevitably dissolve, once again, into a land of separation, scarcity, and suffering.

As we deepen our alignment with this perfection within, it begins to materialize not only in our own lives but also in the broader surrounding environment. By tuning into this awareness, we begin to experience what it feels like, and see how it would appear. The process of actualizing it involves holding to the highest ideal we can conceive and gradually adapting to it — both personally and collectively — by allowing anything that doesn’t resonate with it to fall away.

In regards to the internal awareness, humans have experienced — and written about — this state of being throughout all of recorded history, most notably in religious and spiritual texts.

It is often characterized by perfect peace, infinite and unconditional love, total acceptance and forgiveness, an ending to suffering of all kinds, communion with our creator, and fellowship with all of creation.

For many, the materializing of such a world is considered to be improbable at best and downright impossible at worst. Can we really envision a reality free from all suffering? Not only is it possible to envision, but it is necessary for those who truly desire a peaceful and harmonious world. It is our duty as conscious creators to hold to our highest ideal while simultaneously cultivating the acceptance of what is present, thereby aligning with the perfection within. This alignment is precisely the mechanism that attunes us to this already present reality.

So how do we begin to align with this present reality within? What are we doing in this world as of right now that is in contrast to its manifestation? These are the questions we must ask ourselves. One major thing that arises relative to the second question that will certainly bring up a lot for people to consider — if they are even open to considering it — is how we are treating what we perceive to be the “lower” forms of life.

Examining our relationship with other sentient species can create a massive shift in the way we see the world — and therefore, how the world operates.

The description of heaven above includes an ending to all suffering and fellowship with all of creation. This implies an end to suffering for humans and animals alike, as well as fellowship with nature in its entirety — including the animals we typically eat, wear, and use for materials. I not only know this kind of world is possible but also regard it as inevitable. It’s up to us to determine how long it takes and what the process will look like.

Heaven or Paradise is a stage in our collective spiritual development — the stage at which our external environment reflects our most deeply held values and what we know to be true. We can manifest it more quickly when we begin to accept it as a potential reality. Conversely, if we continue to reject its veracity, that very rejection keeps it at bay.

Points to Consider When Exploring This Subject:

1. The Ubiquity of These Conditions Across Depictions of Paradise

• Judeo-Christian Theology (Kingdom of Heaven)

“The wolf shall dwell with the lamb” and “the lion shall eat straw like the ox”. It goes on to say, “They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea”. This suggests that in the Kingdom, there will be no more predation as it is here on earth.

• Hindu Tradition (Mahabharata)

“In the Krita Yuga (Satyuga), Dharma stood on all four legs. There was no deceit, no hatred, no suffering. Creatures did not kill one another. There was no disease, no sorrow, no fear. The earth yielded crops without cultivation, and all beings lived in harmony.”

• Buddhist Tradition (Kalachakra Tantra)

“In Shambhala, the land is fertile without tilling, and the animals roam freely without fear. There is no need for hunting, for all beings sustain themselves in peace.”

• Greek Mythology (Elysian Fields)

“There, life is easiest for men. No snow, no heavy storms, nor even rain falls. The land yields everything freely, and all beings dwell in harmony.”

• Aztec Tradition (Tlālōcān)

“In Tlālōcān, the rivers flow endlessly, the fields bear fruit without toil, and animals leap joyously in the waters, never hunted, never harmed.”

• Atlantis and Lemuria

For those who believe these were actual places, accounts describe: “There was a time in Atlantis when man and beast lived in harmony, and none were used for toil. The energy of the land and the crystal forces provided all that was needed, without the suffering of creatures.”

Of Lemuria (Mu) it is said, “The land of Mu was a paradise, where the earth bore fruit in abundance, and no man needed to kill for his sustenance. The beasts of the field and the birds of the air knew no fear of man, for there was no strife in those days.”

There are many other similar descriptions across various cultures.

2. The Law of Correspondence in Hermeticism

Often encapsulated as “As above, so below. As within, so without,” this natural law indicates that what transpires on one plane of reality is reflected on another. Likewise, our internal state is mirrored in the external world. Being that we are conscious, we have the capacity to affect the creation we inhabit. Thus, the choices we make in our personal sphere of creation inevitably influence other planes of reality — both higher and lower. If we believe in the premise of “survival of the fittest” or the need to compete and kill to survive, we will continue to create a world that manifests those beliefs. Since we are the conscious creators here, if we practice predation, so will the natural world.

3. The Law of Karma

Though its origins lie in Hindu and Buddhist thought, this principle is another that permeates almost all cultures. Even on a purely metaphysical level, the vibrational signature at which we resonate will inevitably be experienced by us. Therefore, if we as a species persist in systematically and ritualistically exploiting, subjugating, and dominating countless other species — under the false notion that we are granted dominion over them, or have the right to own them as property — then we will continue to be exploited, subjugated, and dominated by other humans (or perhaps even other clandestine beings) who believe themselves to be superior. To put it simply, if we insist on owning and imposing our will on other sentient animals, we would be fools to complain when oligarchs and so-called “elites" do it to us.

Why focus on this particular issue? Why not discuss how we use slave labour to mine cobalt for cell phone batteries, deforest the Amazon for monocropping, or use copious amounts of fresh water to cool down the servers at data centres? Here are a few reasons:

1. While these issues certainly demand our attention and require changes in practice, their underlying principles need not necessarily entail the destruction they are contributing to. In other words, we can mine materials for batteries without relying on slave labour, and we can grow food without resorting to monocropping. However, there is no way we can use animal bodies without killing them and robbing them of their sovereignty — it’s inherent in the practice itself. We have to contribute to violence (behaviour involving physical force intended to hurt, damage, or kill someone or something) in order to attain the materials we use from animals — with one exception that I’ll speak of in the next essay.

2. This issue is not an issue for most. In fact, it is arguably the most socially acceptable form of violence we engage in as a species. Deforestation — bad. Pollution — bad. Corruption in governments — bad. Child abuse — bad. Slave labour — bad. Even dog fights — bad. And yet…

   Using animals for meat, clothes, and science — We need to. We’ve done it for all of human history. I’m free to choose what I eat. They are here for us to use. It’s my tradition. My body needs it. I like the way it tastes. It’s just the way it is. Some of these reasons are valid given our current circumstances and within the right context, but they can be changed, and more importantly, to use them as justifications for the unwillingness to truly discern whether they are true, is disingenuous.

   The vast majority of people hold the notion that humans have the right to impose governance on other sentient animals. This idea alone is a belief that stems from longstanding cultural conditioning rather than a true understanding of our place among other beings. And it extends itself into permission to breed animals into existence, confine them in horrific conditions for most of their lives, choose how and when they mate, and kill them however and whenever is seen fit.

3. There are individuals in those bodies. Living breathing beings are not commodities. Like us, they have emotions; they feel pain and suffer physically, emotionally, and psychologically. Many of the animals we systematically use have families and social bonds of their own. In all the ways that matter, we are the same. They are without voice and cannot advocate for themselves, they are innocent and largely helpless in this dynamic, which makes them a class of being that should be protected and advocated for.

4. The ripple effect of this shift in consciousness in our shared environment would be astronomical. If we all became instantly aware of the horror we enable through our actions — due to our collective apathy toward the plight of an entire kingdom of life — the amount of distress we cause, not only for the animals but for ourselves, would be dramatically reduced.

Some may defend their use of animals by citing their respect and honour for their sacrifice, alluding to historical indigenous practice. Perhaps surprisingly, I would not be inclined to argue against that. To me, it would be one of the necessary steps toward the heaven I am proposing.

Expecting an entire planet to relinquish its dependence on animals overnight would be naive. But to begin by simply changing the way we see animals and our relationship to them, that alone would be a paradigm shift — one that propels us forward with an unstoppable momentum.

I see very clearly how this can actually happen — the process is evident to me. And yet, as I will expand on it, I welcome your critique for my own refinement and understanding. This transition will require changing our relationship with animals in a way that does not immediately halt our dependence on them, but rather, over time, fosters a world where predation and separation become relics of a more primitive stage in our collective development.

Read Part Two - Forward To Fellowship

Internally, I was asking the questions: “What am I really here to offer? What is unique or significant about what I am doing? How do I convey it?”.

To distract myself from the feeling of stagnation, I briefly scrolled through Facebook, where I stumbled upon a handful of events and workshops that ignited something inside me.

I found myself feeling frustrated and contemptuous in response to seeing yet another string of events—things like a heart-opening cacao ceremony, an ecstatic dance to attune to our authentic selves, or a healing sound bath.

The ironic thing about this is that I am someone who deeply sees and appreciates the value of these events. Ways of connecting more deeply to our bodies, our hearts, and our authenticity are so important as we continue to discover ourselves and experience our growth.

However, being that I was already frustrated with my own uncertainty about where to direct my energy, these events stirred something deeper in me. I thought, “What the hell are we doing here? Our brothers and sisters on this planet are suffering constantly and immensely, and we’re here drinking cacao and dancing to another DJ’s amalgamation of someone else’s creations”—the classic self-righteous rhetoric that floats around when someone believes they have the answers while others are missing the mark.

These seemingly arrogant and self-righteous thoughts reflect my own sense that I am not doing enough to bring about change.

I am acutely aware of the overwhelming challenges being faced by the majority of the planet, and occasionally this knowledge—if not addressed and utilized regularly—sparks a fire in my being, compelling me to act in a way that brings significant change to the world.

These thoughts ultimately create an undesirable state of separation, and are easily and immediately met with a greater wisdom that’s been programmed into my belief system.

I become humbled by an awareness of the truth of my insignificance—not an insignificance that devalues me, but one that equalizes me with the rest of creation.

Though I know ultimately that I am no better or worse than anyone else, that everyone’s role on this planet is equally valuable and necessary, and that there is already perfection in creation, I also recognize that the part of me experiencing these emotional responses and holding ideas about what needs to be done deserves my attention. It’s important to honour that fire, the feeling, and the message it carries.

The message it carries is:

Though all is perfect in God’s creation, that creation is always changing. And we, as active participants in this process, are responsible for influencing that change. Therefore, it’s imperative—if we truly want peace and harmony on this planet—that we recognize that responsibility.

Two main points were fuelling that fire. The first is evident in the writing that came through me as I sat with these feelings last night:

There is so much obfuscation and confusion with the sheer volume of information saturating the airwaves.

There are clear truths; there are clear paths to what each and every individual is drawn to at their core—safety, wholeness, peace, happiness, love, freedom, joy, connection, growth, expansion, experience, mystery, novelty.

None of these things are elusive!

And yet, you will find a billion different ways to all of these things from a billion different paths, programs, people, and promises—many offering it as a means to perpetuate their own established position in the very system that prevents these things from being realized!

I was seeing many of these events as yet another way for their facilitators to establish themselves within the worlds of commerce, commodity, and business—worlds that, in many ways, perpetuate the disconnect between humans and their true nature of abundance.

It bothered me how the current state of the world seemingly forces people to commodify their true gifts and commercialize innate wisdom.

The second point had less to do with the facilitators commodifying themselves and more to do with the ways in which we interact and engage with the plethora of events designed to contribute to our well-being.

I live in a community teeming with various events, offerings, and workshops that are centred around personal development, embodiment, spiritual growth, and authentic expression.

On one level, this is an incredible blessing. Until the summer of 2020, I lived in a place where such opportunities were virtually nonexistent. I am so grateful that these are the kinds of events I have access to now.

On another level, I sometimes perceive the way others engage with this phenomenon as yet another iteration of the life that I once lived years ago—constantly moving from one activity to the next, engaging in pursuits that merely distract and stimulate.

Some of these activities seem to offer temporary relief from deeper issues, but in certain ways, they fail to liberate us from the underlying pathology.

I do believe this is often the case. We’ve been conditioned to seek the next thing that provides a state of temporary well-being or pleasure—whether to assuage the general anxiety we all harbour as a result of living in a world reflective of chaos, imbalance, and suffering, or to momentarily experience the ecstasy of our being when we believe we are free.

This conditioning is so deeply embedded in our psyche that it even infiltrates what should be the conscious evolution of our soul, reducing it to yet another unconscious pattern.

Because this conditioning is designed to keep us unconscious, it leaves us in a state where:

• We haven't fully comprehended the absolute atrocity and horror unfolding on the global stage—and that we are enabling it.

• We’ve lost faith in the possibility of real change.

• We’re unsure what change would look like or what we are truly capable of as a species.

• We’ve become hedonistic, seeking personal gratification and self-esteem to the detriment of the collective.

• We don’t actually understand that we are all one!

Though these reasons may hold some truth, we are often not in touch with this reality. We exist mostly in a realm of thought far removed from these underlying manifestations, all of which reside in the realm of the subconscious, unconscious, and repressed.

I speak to these phenomena because I am immersed in them myself, and I wish to invite you to join me in making a conscious effort to evolve beyond these predicaments.

One of the major things I am consistently working on is how to navigate the world of commodity and commerce while simultaneously attempting to transform it. I still succumb to distraction and stimulation because sometimes tuning into the experiences of my brothers and sisters on this planet is too overwhelming.

Because I see this in myself, I see it everywhere! And because I am still reminded of these predicaments—even as I unconsciously distract myself from them—it’s important for me to speak and share about them more often.

By sharing these thoughts, I choose to invite others to join me, which helps to hold myself accountable in this endeavour. Making these declarations public reinforces my commitment to this work.

So! This is a call to action—an invitation to see things differently, so we can do things differently—so we can be differently.

Let us not continue to be sufficiently distracted and pacified, giving ourselves a false sense of satisfaction with our current condition. This prevents us from feeling the fire rise—the very fire that would normally compel us to band together, organize, become devoted, and enact the world we know is possible.

Let us utilize these offerings, events, and programs not as ends in themselves but as tools—to strengthen our resolve, to ground us in our power, to open our hearts with compassion for all living beings.

By utilizing these gifts to recognize and realize the already present perfection of all that is, we paradoxically move toward creating and manifesting the perfection in the physical world.

We must perceive the inherent perfection of creation while simultaneously acknowledging that, in its current state, it is dangerously out of balance and requires our intentional participation to realign with its natural harmony.

I invite you to see not through a different lens, but to remove all lenses, revealing the undeniable nature of oneness—that we are not and cannot be separated.

I invite you to continue to do what is necessary for your own well-being—to honour yourself in every way possible. And, I invite you to expand that sense of self to include the entirety of existence, because it is there!

I invite you to adopt a way of being that examines every one of your intentions, questioning what initiates them, asking yourself, “Am I doing this to find and increase my own sense of comfort and transient satisfaction in a world rife with suffering?” or “Am I doing this to contribute to a greater world, where the next generation can know their soul and see its expression encouraged by its environment?”

Allow me to get a little more preachy.

This is a time of great change.

We cannot get by with the attitude that finds only subtle ways to add a little positivity incrementally to a world overrun by competition, corruption, collusion, and chaos.

It is not enough to simply follow your own passion, for your own business, so you can do well for yourself and donate a few bucks to a non-profit once in a while.

The momentum and power of natural cycles is immense. If we carry on making spirituality and personal growth just another facet of consumerism and commodification, we will only make the matrix look a little prettier—for a time—until it too devolves back into some form of dystopian landscape where failing to say namaste to your yoga teacher will land you a week’s work in the “re-education” camp.

This is a paradigm shift!

Everything must change.

We must assume that altering the current system to feel a little lighter will only perpetuate it.

We must include the world in our intentions.

We must act as one.

We must build from the ground up!

Having allowed this fire to move through me—letting these aspects of myself speak—I return to an understanding of present completion and wholeness. This awareness, along with its inherent peace, are the field within which these expressions of consciousness emerge, live, and die. Throughout their lifespan, they share insights that lead to clarity, and once expressed, merge back with the peaceful backdrop of infinite oneness.

While this interpretation holds some validity, it is a narrow view. It imposes a moral judgment on the event, overlooking its role in shaping the evolution and development of human consciousness.

To explore this idea further, I will approach it through the perspective presented in the essay, Consuming Chaos Leads to its Creation. The following is the full passage from which it is derived:

“This wisdom of how to behave is innate; it is only through the gradual, cumulative, and rather insidious programming that we have received, as well as implemented as a species since the “fall of man,” that we’ve distanced ourselves from, or have forgotten, our Divine intelligence.”

The Fall of Man in this statement merely points to a time in human development when a new level of consciousness emerged and became a consistent part of our experience, changing the way we operate in the world.

In Judeo-Christian orthodoxy, the Fall of Man refers to the narrative in which humanity, once living in harmony with God and nature in the Garden of Eden, was tempted by Satan—in the form of a serpent—to disobey God’s law by eating the forbidden fruit from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. Prior to this choice, Adam and Eve are said to have lived in perfect harmony with Divine Law. However, God had imbued them with free will, which Eve exercised by disobeying His command to avoid the Tree.

This narrative is one of the more prominent examples of programming that permeated in the cultural zeitgeist through the proliferation of religious texts and their enforcement by institutions of power and influence.

In the original essay, I placed the phrase Fall of Man in quotes to highlight the irony of its misinterpretation of the point at which humanity underwent a profound shift in consciousness—gaining what might be called free will—as indicative of a descent from a greater, more righteous—or moral state of being.

Another significant example of conditioning that we’ve “received as well as implemented” since this shift in consciousness is the rise of scientific materialism and secularism, which became more prevalent during the so-called “Age of Enlightenment”—another phrase I place in quotes to underscore its ironic mischaracterization, as the focus on materialism and secularism is, in many ways, the farthest thing from a true state of enlightenment.

Although these ideas saw widespread enforcement in various ways, and countless individuals pursued personal agendas in their proliferation, they are ultimately indicative of a collective consciousness striving to make sense of reality and establish control in response to the innate fear and instability that arises when one begins to question their existence, their origins, and the nature of reality itself.

While both perspectives have significantly impacted the human psyche and its ability to comprehend its true nature, I will focus my attention on the religious perspective, as that is where the phrase Fall of Man originates.

In contrast to the narrative that the Fall was detrimental to human expression, I argue that the initiation of free will within the human psyche—and the consequent ‘loss of innocence’—was a necessary and natural step in the evolution of consciousness.

The loss of innocence refers to a state of being in which humans existed before developing the ability to deviate from their instinctual and habitual patterns. It could be said that, because we were aligned with the cycles and rhythms of nature, we were also more aligned with Divine Law, abiding by the same governance that all other animals ‘in the Garden’ obeyed.

I refer to this psychological ascent from one state of being to another as the transition from two-dimensional to three-dimensional consciousness.

Two-dimensional consciousness is equivalent to animal consciousness, a way of being characterized by stimulus and response, experienced instinctually. Envisioning a straight line with two points: a stimulus, such as the feeling of hunger, occurs on one end, and a direct response, such as seeking nourishment, occurs on the other. Early humans, along with the rest of the animal kingdom, primarily embodied this level of consciousness.

But what is three-dimensional consciousness, and what elevates one to this state?

Continuing with the imagery, envisioning a third point, we see a triangle. This third point, suspended above the straight line, represents the ability to witness, reflect, and even intervene with the process of stimulus and response.

The environmental catalyst for the development of this third dimension of awareness, whether internal or external, has been a topic of debate for at least all of recorded history.

Before focusing on the universal and perennial process that can arise for various reasons, let’s explore some widely recognized possibilities:

First, there is of course the Judeo-Christian myth of the serpent tempting Eve in the Garden with the Satanic ability to defy God’s Law, as discussed in-depth above.

Another interpretation stems from the ancient Sumerian texts, which describe a superior extraterrestrial race known as the Anunnaki. According to these texts, the Anunnaki travelled to Earth and began experimenting with a lower form of hominid, aiming to create beings intelligent enough to serve as a slave race, but not so intelligent that they would be capable of rebelling against their masters. The Anunnaki were led by two brothers, Enlil and Enki. It is said that Enki, sympathizing with humanity's plight, began to foster their self-awareness and encouraged their rebellion against Enlil. This event can be likened to the Fall of Man in the Judeo-Christian narrative. However, from this perspective, it might be more accurately characterized as the rise or birth of mankind as self-aware beings.

A more recent perspective is that of the Stoned Ape Theory, coined and popularized by ethnobotanist Terence McKenna. While speculation about the role of psychoactive substances in the development of human consciousness predates McKenna, he significantly advanced the theory. Basically, as early humans transitioned from forested areas to open savannas, they encountered and consumed mushrooms containing psilocybin growing in dung. These psychoactive experiences are thought to have introduced new levels of cognition, perception, and overall awareness.

In approaching this idea from a psychological and metaphysical perspective, the specific events of our particular planet’s history—and therefore the development of this particular race of humanoids as self-aware beings—are not essential to understanding of this perennial and universal process.

Metaphysically, the potential for greater awareness lies dormant in every aspect of reality—the whole is contained within the part.

Each and every being—or even every individuated point of eternal consciousness—contains all aspects of the whole. Thus, the capacity for self-awareness exists within every aspect of the Unified Field of reality; it needs only to be activated.

Psychologically, when living beings operate primarily from two-dimensional consciousness, they rarely experience moments of reflection, and even less frequently, moments of self-reflection. They function essentially as automatons, experiencing sensations and emotions without engaging in complex cognitive processes, which have yet to be activated and nurtured.

It is through pattern interruption that animals begin to question consistently enough that another form—or mode—of cognition arises. This leads them to reflect on particular moments and instinctively ‘question’ in order to learn and adapt. A being that perceives very little change in its environment has little reason to grow or evolve. However, when something new arises, a process of ‘learning’ must take place, where their awareness aperture widens to allow more information, including not only greater perception of stimuli but also greater perception of time.

This occurs when a being's instinctual and habitual programming is no longer applicable. For example, let’s consider a wild animal encountering human civilization for the first time. Normally, its instincts and habits serve its surviving and thriving in its natural habitat. However, when it approaches a man-made fence, it doesn’t understand the material or its unusual structure. Let’s say a chimpanzee encounters such a fence, and on the other side is something it wants to eat. It begins to poke at it, challenge it, push against it, and attempt to climb it. If it notices that it is too high to climb, it might start to pull on it and discover that part of it lifts out of the ground. It then receives the idea to lift the fence high enough to crawl underneath. Throughout this process, the ape is questioning—not with words, but through its actions—actively learning by actively asking its environment what it is and how it can interact with it.

The more this process occurs, the more we learn about our environment. At some point, however, through some form of pattern interruption in our reality, we begin to question ourselves or the reality we inhabit.

This shift is likely to occur in animals that live in communities, where observing inconsistencies in the behaviour of others, and the subsequent confusion, can lead them to open their aperture of understanding to receive new possibilities.

When one wonders and lets go of habits and instincts, they enter a state of learning, where information can be received in the form of ideas through what we might call the imagination.

As this process becomes more prominent in an individual or collective consciousness, it activates a higher state of awareness that enables questioning, contemplation, and self-reflection. Thus, the third dimension of consciousness is born.

For whatever reason, this shift occurred in our species at some point in our evolution. It sparked a curiosity about existence, about humanity, about nature, and about what comes before and after. Before this, we were ‘innocent’: we acted in alignment with the cycles and rhythms of nature and saw no need to question, until we did—until something challenged our understanding, or our very sense of well-being. Our minds developed an intellect and it got involved in the learning process.

In our innocent ignorance, we explored and asked questions. Some beings recognized the power that came with providing answers to those questions and began offering responses that served their own agendas, answers such as: ‘You are inherently bad or broken, and the only way to remedy this is to listen to me’, and ‘If you follow me, I will give you everything you seek’. This created great suffering for many, creating more reasons to question.

On the other hand, in wondering and seeking the truth of our nature, and the nature of existence, humanity came to view reality through various lenses—philosophical, biological, psychological, emotional, physical, and metaphysical. Through deep reflection and deliberate practices, humans then gained access to greater wisdom, attuning to a broader field of knowledge that extended beyond what we can see and touch.

Eventually, this process reveals a profound truth: that we are nature and not separate from it. This realization coupled with free will, offers the choice to align with the natural order or to resist it.

Such choices cultivate wisdom and elevate consciousness to higher dimensions of awareness.

We can then comprehend, on a deeper level, what is meant by the nature of ‘good and evil’. When we align with nature—on not only a physical level, but observe the metaphysical tendencies as well—we transcend the illusions of separation and scarcity, eliminating fear and suffering. This, in essence, is a conscious choice to return to our Divine state, return to ‘the Garden,’ if you will, but in a greater context. It is not a return to being mindless automatons, but to self-aware beings imbued with conscious choice, which we consciously exercise to align with Divine Law on levels beyond the material world.

In essence, the Fall of Man was not a moral failing. From one perspective, it was a deviation from Divine Law by allowing humanity to defy our unconscious alignment with nature. This deviation from natural cycles and rhythms created the possibility of great exploration, as well as great suffering. And this suffering then compelled humanity to contemplate and question even further, leading to a deeper contextual and experiential understanding of unity with nature and the oneness of all things.

Through this journey, humanity gains the ability to live in service to a greater understanding, which elevates our experience and our will, connecting us to a greater power of creation and evolution.

The introduction of the question and the capacity to go against instinctual, biological, and habitual responses was not a descent into a lower, profane state of being. It was an activating of a dormant capacity for exploration that the Divine has embedded within itself—to explore its self, to eventually remember its self, and, to ultimately, embody the wholeness of its Self as Divine Perfection.

Thus, the Fall of Man—the awakening of conscious self-awareness and choice—was never the issue. The true obstacle was the distortion of this awakening through cultural conditioning and misinterpretation by an ignorant and fearful consciousness prevalent in much of humanity. Yet even this distortion has served a purpose, for the resulting suffering has driven humanity to remember who and what we truly are.

As a species, we are now in the process of integrating this knowledge of our true nature, thereby returning to a Divine union with the creative element present within ourselves.

Using our conscious choice to make decisions that unite us with the Divine Flow—the Dao—allows us to experience paradise once again. This time, however, we are fully aware of it. We know—not just instinctually and intuitively—who and what we are, but we observe it, we exercise it, and we embody it on every level.

This is Realization, this is the Ascent of Man.

In the grandest or purest Truth–meaning that which remains true regardless of our awareness of it—we are the Source of Creation, what is created, and the very process of Creation itself.

Depending on the scope of our current awareness, we seemingly possess a certain level of agency in the expression of that creation.

Therefore, regardless of whether or not we are aware of ourselves as both the creator and the created, it remains to be true. We can become aware of the concept intellectually, which from one approach is preparing the way for the experience of it. However, it is only through the experiential that we Know it to be so.

One aspect of Natural Law, on the metaphysical level, is that everything that exists externally to an individual mind is an expression and reflection of what is present within that mind.

This is because all that is, is one eternal and infinite field of potential.

In The Life and Teachings of Masters of the Far East, this field is referred to as the “Universal Mind Substance”, suggesting that it is a substance or substrate from which things are created, yet it is composed of “mind”, or pure thought energy.

In this infinite field, that which is held in an “individual mind” is expressed—pressed outward—into the field, manifesting as external reality. Thus, as a point of awareness and agency that an individual appears to be, they are a point—or even a vessel—of creation.

There are various levels of this experience through which we can pass. We can most easily observe and experience this at The Physical Plane—or The Gross Reality—where we can think or choose to stand or sit, and our body obeys. Beyond that, we can sometimes, especially with practice, appear capable of controlling our thoughts; for example, we can choose to do mathematics in our heads. By accessing this ability and with consistent practice and awareness, we can be aware of how we can choose our feelings by selecting which thoughts to focus on.

The next level is a demonstration of the metaphysical dimension of creation and can be referred to as The Subtle Plane, whereby, with practice in guiding one’s thoughts and feelings, one can begin to see physical results in their external reality—results that could often only be explained by the premise that one is both affecting and effecting their reality through their thinking and emotional field.

The direct effecting of the reality we perceive is the deepest and broadest layer we can experience as an individuated creator or soul. Whilst in our reality, as stated above, we can think and feel certain things that would have a resulting effect in the external world, but in this next layer, we arrive at the very source.

In this layer, we are not just causing manifestations within the framework of the reality, but manifesting the architecture of the very reality itself.

This is often referred to as The Causal Plane.

This progression from Gross to Causal is indicative of our growth—or expansion—in awareness of our true agency in the reality we are experiencing. In a previous essay, Consuming Chaos Leads to its Creation, I made the statements: “We are always the creators of our realities…”, “In every given moment we are creating all that we perceive and experience, period.” and “...we can change it all!”. Now that we’ve laid a comprehensible foundation for this concept, let’s offer some clarity and expansion on these statements.

In the statement, “We are always the creators”, I am referring to the idea that we are, in every moment, projecting a field of Gross reality from the source of creation in the Causal reality. We are the point of awareness that holds a thought, an ambition, or perhaps even an attachment to a particular intention, with the purpose of projecting holographically a physical reality for us to inhabit and operate in.

The level of power and the forces involved in this creation have so much energetic strength and stability, that a monumental amount of momentum would be needed to disrupt its ongoing manifestation. It’s akin to a soul level version of muscle memory, or a deeply ingrained unconscious habit.

We, as creative beings, make it very difficult for ourselves to access this causal plane of reality because, if it were easy, we would not last long enough as individuals to really grow or learn from our experiences; the moment we found a challenge in our young lives, we would default back to the causal plane and say, “This life is hard; I am going to create a brand new one”. The momentum of unresolved or unrealized Karma, in a sense, keeps us tethered to our current incarnation.

That being said, however, we do have access to this causal plane. Our connection to it is established through thought, visualization, and imagination.

The energy of thought and imagination in the subtle plane overlaps—almost bleeds through—into the causal. By detaching from particular motives of thought and feeling, our intention can settle deeper and deeper into the causal.

Holding onto attachments elevates our will beyond the causal, confining it to the subtle and gross planes, and leaving the causal influenced only by subconscious and unconscious patterning. Therefore, whether or not we are aware of our connection to and influence on the causal plane, it is still occurring “in every given moment”, albeit subconscious.

The way “we can change it all” is by allowing for that detachment process to take place, becoming aware of our influence on the causal plane, and allowing our will to descend deeper into it. This enables us to become acquainted with deeper levels of control and influence.

There are no hard boundaries preventing us from connecting to deeper levels of creation, except for the boundaries of belief that are imposed upon us or created by ourselves.

We are always the creators, on every level, and through the recognition of this fact, we can truly know what it is to experience it.

There is a subtle difference between what is referred to as Natural Law and Divine Law—one that lies more in the quality of expression and perspective than in their fundamental essence.

Natural and Divine Law both point to a singular concept: ultimate reality—or, in the Hindu tradition, it is referred to as Brahman, the true essential form of everything.

Natural Law is the unfolding of mathematical, physical, and metaphysical laws through which reality operates. Divine Law is the relationship we as conscious beings share with Natural Law.

Natural Law is the set of immutable forces and patterns that are inherent in reality. Divine Law could be expressed through a set of precepts or commands. Natural Law cannot be broken; Divine Law, however, can be broken by choosing not to follow it intentionally.

If we go against the precepts of Divine Law—say, for example, the Golden Rule, which roughly states, 'Do unto others as you would have them do unto you,' basically meaning treat others how you want to be treated—by treating someone with malicious intent, we will be visited upon by an experience of equal fate. The law is being broken in the sense that we are not following its guidance to avoid some form of retribution, which essentially implies that we have “broken” the law. However, the resulting consequence of retribution in this case is still an effect of Natural Law; the unfolding of reality causes us to experience an equal consequence, in magnitude, from our initial action.

To summarize, Natural Law is the innate lawful unfolding of reality, while Divine Law consists of the guidelines or precepts that stem from the awareness of Natural Law, that when followed, create harmony with Nature and reality. By ignoring the precepts of Divine Law, we are welcoming the consequences of imbalance and dis-ease that manifest as a result of that ignorance.

The truth of this moment is that I’ve come to sit here with the intention to share an opinion, a point of view, one which I hope to be reflective of what is true. This intention was inspired by some friends who shared a video with me last week, their perspective of it, and what is going on in the world in general.

They felt a sense of urgency—urgency for action, for speaking up, for sharing what is to come.

So, what is to come?

According to this video, it’s turmoil, chaos, and great change through challenging times.

I was reminded of how I have been hearing many warnings of great, tumultuous change over the past few years especially. I don’t say this to dismiss their validity. In fact, each time I encountered one of these warnings, something did come to pass that could be seen as aligning with the prediction. However, it rarely matched the level of urgency or emergency being conveyed through the many different channels making the claims.

Though these warnings could be considered potentially catastrophic, such as the collapse of major banks, disruption of the food supply, natural disasters, and days without power, they are not meant to scare us, or compel us to make great preparations and drastic changes due to our fear.

Regardless of what these warnings may cause you to feel, or whether they are even accurate in the first place is not the point, because they are alluding to something more eternal, something that applies to us at all times.

Warnings such as those can cause us to look more deeply at the way we are living. Whatever is “coming down the pipe” is always due to a number of factors, most significantly is the way in which we live; the ways in which we think, feel, and behave.

These warnings are simply an expression of Natural Law unfolding. They are demonstrations of how a collective consciousness consistently and persistently resisting Divine Law will cause tension, friction, and chaos. This then manifests in the form of major expulsions of energy or major disruptions in systems of order.

When we imbue the infinite void of potential with division, resistance, and fear, we receive expressions of this in our material world.

These warnings and their potential fruition are indicative of a collective consciousness that: focuses its attention and energy on the ways in which we are divided and separate, resists the awareness of difficult truths and the energy of pain and discomfort, and fears potential undesirable outcomes.

The reason we are currently seeing examples of division, turmoil, and fear is that these are the things we have focused on—and to which we have given our emotional and psychic energy, virtually consistently, as a whole, for a very long time.

Some may counter and say that we are just in the midst of a major global transition and therefore we are going to be witness to great collapses, and though this may be true on some level, it is not a full understanding of why, what that means, or how to behave in response.

Each and every individual is a conduit for Divine creative energy; every thought, feeling, and action has its corresponding effect in the external reality. We are always the creators of our realities; the real question is whether we are aware of this fact, or if our creations are more the result of unconscious patterns, programs, and the influence of the collective consciousness.

The reason we are in the midst of a major global transition is because we as a collective have incarnated here at this time by choice to experience what it is to go through this transition. We have collectively created this rapid and massive evolution.

We will see major changes and we will experience things that will require dynamic adaptability, but that does not imply that turmoil and chaos will be our experience. It certainly does not imply that there is great risk or danger ahead.

It implies simply that we will be going through something that we all as individual souls go through when we evolve in any way; that we have to let go of that which no longer serves us, we have to accept the challenges that come, and we must be willing to carry on through a great metamorphosis.

This can be the most beautiful and sublime experience you ever have, should you choose to accept it.

The resistance and the fear associated with these “warnings” are the very components that will cause the chaos and the turmoil to land on your doorstep. So, it would be wise to determine whether or not it is helpful for you to consume this information.

Moreover, these ideas and principles are not to be adopted only in this time, the very occurrence of this paradigm shift is a reminder to always be living this way. The heat is being turned up, so to speak, to show us exactly what is needed in life, not only what is needed through times of great change.

It is paramount that we view this life and this very moment as if we have just shown up, as if we have just arrived to find these conditions and circumstances—that of the world and the expression of the collective to which we are witness—and respond to them in kind, with wisdom and awareness of what is, and how it all operates.

This wisdom of how to behave is innate; it is only through the gradual, cumulative, and rather insidious programming that we have received as well as implemented as a species since the “fall of man”, that we’ve distanced ourselves from, or have forgotten, our Divine intelligence.

The reason this thinking or perspective is important is twofold: first, it is true. In every given moment we are creating all that we perceive and experience, period. Second, we can change it all!

With collective intention and attention on what is and how it operates, we could influence this transition and paradigm shift to be easeful, glorious, and Holy.

We are not, nor have we ever been, subject to or lawfully bound to turmoil and untethered chaos. We choose it in our ignorance—which is simply a part of the play of evolution—to know what it is to forget, to utilize the fuel of evolutionary tension and friction to expand our awareness and the experience of our True Self.

One other point, though somewhat implicit in the other explanations here, is that when we consume this information predicting great turmoil and challenge—and believe it, meaning we take its reality into our own creative space by feeling it as true—we do create it.

If we can listen to these predictions and perceive them as what they are, simply statements of potential realities, and choose the necessary response to create a more desirable outcome, we will contribute to the creation of a more fluid and potentially seamless transition into this next great stage of our evolution; or, in the event that chaos still ensues on a global scale, the way it affects us as individuals will be graceful and expansive.

It’s your choice, be informed, be aware, and choose wisely.
